Winning Strategies' National Digital Platforms Honored Among Eight MarCom Award Wins
NEWARK, N.J. (October 25, 2010) – Winning Strategies, a Newark N.J.-based communications company, recently earned eight MarCom awards from the prestigious Association of Marketing & Communications Professionals.
Included in that tally were three Platinum Award winners, the highest honor for MarCom winners. The three Platinum Awards were given to Winning Strategies’ programs for the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services’ postpartum depression-awareness campaign (external communications program), Autism New Jersey (publicity campaign) and ProtectingAmerica.org (newspaper placement).
The agency received two Gold Awards for campaigns engineered for Verizon FiOS – one that allowed fans of pop singer Taylor Swift to produce their own karaoke videos and compete in a Web-based sweepstakes and another that featured NFL player Ryan Clark urging fans to upload videos and describe their ideal “Man Caves.”
“These awards are great, but they would not be possible without great client partners, who trust us to create communications programs to speak to their respective audiences,” said Jim McQueeny, chairman of Winning Strategies. “We’re constantly creating new opportunities for our clients in this digital age , which our award-winning work seems to illustrate.”
